Urbi

Urbi is a Manchester based DJ, producer, broadcaster and promoter with a deep sense of musicality thanks to her background as a dancer, singer and musician. Crafting sets directly from the heart and favouring the most soulful of house and garage basslines, Urbi has graced the stages of major festivals and discerning venues across Europe and recently met critical acclaim for her debut release, all within just a few years since stepping up to the decks.

Building a very impressive resume so far, Urbi’s gig highlights include debuting at The Warehouse Project with Disclosure and Black Coffee, playing the O2 Arena London for Lauryn Hill’s Miseducation 25 Tour and appearances at Parklife, MiNT Festival, Amsterdam Dance Event, and We Out Here. 2026 looks set to take things up a notch with early bookings including SXM Festival in Saint Martin, Abode On The Rock and Outwards.

Starting her life as a DJ in 2023 at NOT BAD FOR A GIRL’s (NBFG) 4th birthday event, Urbi was then asked to join as a resident for the collective a year later, finding solidarity with fellow members and contributing to its work to end gender inequality in dance music. Her own event series and imprint Staple Music is based on similar community principles, having hosted the likes of Cinthie as headliners at venues around Manchester.

As an emerging producer, Urbi released her first music in 2025 on NBFG’s label EQUAL PARTS. With its bouncy and playful garage tip, ‘Play It Back’ was featured by BBC Radio 1’s Jaguar twice and named ‘Track of the Day’ on Beatport. As her sound continues to evolve, Urbi’s carving out her place on the global circuit, with a clear trajectory and nothing but greatness ahead.
