Ton Trax - DY Dance EP

Do As You Please returns with DAYP:008, the new DY Dance EP from Ton Traxx - a tight, club-focused two-tracker built for late-night rooms and sunlit terraces alike. Blending Tech House, Progressive, Minimal House, and a flash of Hip House attitude, the EP lands with a punchy groove philosophy: keep it moving, keep it classy, keep it fun.

The title cut “DY Dance” is a driving, floor-commanding roller - crisp low-end and confident percussion. On the flip, “What a Day” leans into deeper minimal territory, with a warm, progressive lift, giving DJs a versatile house record with sunshine and warehouse appeal.

Behind Ton Traxx is Sean Harrington, a Newcastle-based DJ, producer, and educator (Dojo Academy), with a sound rooted in the raw, functional energy of old school house. Known for drawing on an extensive, years-in-the-making vinyl collection, Ton Traxx’s sets are built for the dance floor - warm, percussive, and uncompromising. A former resident at Digital Newcastle, Ton Trax has played for brands including Shindig, Lost Village Festival, and Defected, while taking the sound across the Ibiza club circuit and into Amsterdam.

With support from selectors including Richy Ahmed, Ben Rau, Paco Osuna, and Toman, and a debut release that landed on Ben Rau’s META label, Ton Trax continues to push forward with more music on the way. Also the founder of independent imprint NOTTRAX, Ton Trax operates at the intersection of club culture and vinyl obsession - always digging, always moving forward.
